What's with the name "Safari"?

Apple

Another thing that's gotten me thinking after today's keynote...what's with the name Safari?

Might it possibly have any connection to Apple's ownership of mammals.org?

If you have an idea, please share.

Apple and themes - A shot in the foot

.Mac membership offers extended

Apple A recent e-mail from Apple has informed me that my "opportunity" to buy .Mac at a discounted price has been extended. I wonder if this has anything to do with the 5% adoption to the pay-service. So if you want to Mac host, you still have time to sign up. If you want to Tobin Host, the offer is always open.

Off-topic, but needs addressing

News This site is at heart a Mac technology site. Sometimes we get off on tangents about PCs, sometimes even about Windows. Today I'm going to get off on a tanget about politics, specifically the Bush administration and Iraq. I've kept what I've felt bottled up inside too long, and I feel it finally needs to be voiced.

eBay Auction Gone Wrong

Humour A reader tipped me off to this interesting eBay auction. I guess that'll make you think twice before linking to someone else's image files within your eBay auctions. =)
